Palm Beach County is home to five universities, numerous research institutions, and a primary/secondary public education system designed to promote critical thinking as students prepare for the demands of college and career. The Choice Program is available to students from an early age in specific career-preparation tracks for health care, life sciences, veterinary, and other STEM, arts and business paths. The county participates in the International Baccalaureate program.
The School District of Palm Beach County is rated “A” by the State of Florida and is Florida’s only urban school district with this high grade. Some of the most highly rated private schools in the United States are located in Palm Beach County, including the Top 100 U.S. News and World Report rankings.
