Recycling is available to all Palm Beach County residents. Palm Beach County’s recycling program is one of the best in the country.
Recycling preserves our natural resources and increases the life of our landfill. The Solid Waste Authority has adopted the state’s 75% waste reduction goal and if we are going to continue to achieve this goal we need everyone to their part.
Recycling is easy in Palm Beach County. See below for the ins and outs.
Recycling Bins:
These recycling containers are only for multi-family complexes with dumpster service. They are serviced mechanically.
These recycling containers are for curbside collection only. They are collected manually.

Unwanted Mail
School and Office Papers
Phone Books
Paper Bags
Boxes (Box types include beverage cartons, tissue boxes, dry food boxes and corrugated cardboard. Boxes must be flattened and cut to 3’x3’ max.)
Shredded Paper (Please place shredded paper in a brown paper bag, fold the top down to secure, and place in your Yellow Bin. No plastic bags please!)

Prohibited Items – Because contamination affects the marketability of the materials we collect, please be careful not to place the following in your bins:
