Indiantown, Florida found itself on the map after railroad executive, Solomon Davies Warfield, extended the railroad through here in the 1920s.  He planned to make Indiantown a hub for the Seaboard rail line, developing the town. Unfortunately, Warfield’s death, along with a bad hurricane, caused for the “hub vision” to soon become forgotten. The Seminole Inn is the only evidence left of Warfield’s early development of this town.

Nowadays, Indiantown still benefits from the rail lines, as well as the highways that feed through the town. There is easy access to Palm Beach area amenities just 30 minutes away, but residents of Indiantown are able to enjoy a laid-back small-town life.
