Arthur I. Meyer Jewish Preparatory School has been an education leader in the lives of South Florida families since 1973. Meyer Prep’s rigorous and advanced curriculum is woven together with inspiring Jewish values and text, resulting in an unparalleled learning experience that fosters an insatiable yearning for discovery and knowledge while nurturing the entire student’s development. As an integral part of the Posnack School Network, Meyer Prep students learn in a top-ranked private school that has more than 1,500 students in junior kindergarten (5 years old) through 12th grade.
From junior kindergarten through eighth grade, students hone collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills as they learn to respond to challenges with flexible thinking, creativity, and optimism. Our school prepares students for a lifetime of academic success. Lauded for our warmth, individualized attention, and a professional staff that knows each student by name, interests, and achievements, our students know they are in a safe and nurturing environment. They are curious and excited about school, ask questions and seek answers, and strive for their personal best.
At Meyer Prep, we strive to instill a lifelong enthusiasm for learning. Our stimulating curriculum and co-curricular activities engage our students, challenging them to think critically and creatively. Children not only learn about Judaism, they experience and “live it” through prayer, Shabbat and holiday celebrations, and a set of behavioral expectations rooted in Torah and Jewish tradition. In addition to imparting a broad range of academic and creative knowledge and skill, Meyer Prep provides learning experiences to assist students in acquiring the moral, social, and interpersonal skills they need to thrive at school and in the world.
A Meyer Prep alum is esteemed as much for creativity, compassion, and character as for academic preparedness and achievements. Meyer Prep International Baccalaureate Middle School graduates are recruited by competitive high school programs, whose administrators laud Meyer grads for their academic preparedness and leadership skills. As IB Middle School students, Meyer Prep graduates receive weighted preference for acceptance into IB high school programs. One hundred percent of our school’s graduates in recent years have been accepted to their first-choice competitive high schools.
