If learning and soaking in culture is a favorite pastime, look no further than West Palm Beach. Host of SunFest, a music festival where numerous bands take to the stage, or the Norton Museum of Art that offers exhibitions, collections and special events on Thursdays, that provides a unique look at American, Chinese, contemporary and European art, as well as photography.  Internationally known, the Norton brings together interesting and poignant exhibitions.

Flagler Museum in Palm Beach, completed in 1902 features guided tours, special programs and changing exhibits at the former home of Henry Flagler.  Whitehall, which contains the museum, and is a two-story building covering more than 100,000 feet with 55 rooms.  Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the former home is a magnificent example of the Gilded Age.  Seasonal special events and programs, such as a Valentine’s Day tea, Christmas at Whitehall, the annual Christmas tree lighting, holiday tours, music series featuring fine chamber music in an intimate setting, historic lectures and children’s programs can all be experienced.

Travel south to Jupiter, and experience a night out at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.  The nonprofit theatre is committed to performance, education and production, and is one of Florida’s best professional theatres.  Special events are always happening at the Maltz, with shows such as Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap, Billy Elliot The Musical and Frost/Nixon by Peter Morgan take to the stage.
